Well well first update for 2013. A lot of stuff happend past the last month, I finally found the time to share some news with you !

In november 2012 we moved in our new atelier at Jülicherstraße 191 Aachen. It is located in the “kranzcenter”, which is an old industrial building.
On about 200squaremeters, we set up our new playground.

We are : Til Hennen, Clara Scharping, Marco Iannicelli, Fabian Seibert and myself.

I am looking forward to great projects and new products !

We are also announcing our atelier-housewarming-party !

update 1 – Schaufensterschau 2012

Regarding the “Schaufensterschau 2012” I am more than happy to tell that I made the first place! I was totaly suprised about the selection committees choice and still cant believe how it turned out for me. On top of all the fame and nice compliments, I also got a brandnew ipad ! I am still busy figuring out how this thing works. Here are some pictures of the event and some publications :

update 2 – Galerie Freitag 18.30

The Galerie “Freitag 18.30” is one of the most influential art galeries in Aachen. Robert Mertens gave Marco Iannicelli and me the opportunity to present some of our work. It was a great honor to be part of the latest opening. Kai Savelsberg showcases his art “Schichten”, large-sized paintings which perfectly show his skill and talent. Marco Iannicelli, the “wax lamp” and me as usual the “syn-kraft-stool”. All the work can be seen form the 5th of october until the 26th at Galerie Freitag 18.30 Steinkaulstraße 11 Aachen.

update 3 – designboulevard Heerlen

“Designboulevard Heerlen” is the first designboulevard in the netherlands. It takes place at the wounboulevard Heerlen, the different local shopes and stores were asked to give some space for new talented designers in order to showcase their work. Together with 7 other members of the designmetropole aachen, I am showing my work at the GAMMA Bouwmarket from 12-20. october.

update 4 – LYF magazine

Today I received an email from Cristina Frasca who is the Publisher – Editor in Chief of the LYF magazine. They publicated my stool in their latest issue. If your are arround Milan make sure you pic one copy up !

Two very interesting events on one weekend – yes sir !

A nice little Design Show by the designmetropole aachen, as well as a more artistic installation event in the east of the city. If you manage to come to aachen, check out both !

brief update with a scan of my most recent publication. Marco and me were asked to give a inteview to home style china. We gave them impressions of our own work as well as a short introduction of the designmetropole aachen.

One step further !

Almost two weeks ago we had our final presentation of our concept for our client “regio iT”. The results of more than 6 month work have been transformed into gear wheels. Each wheel represents one idea and forms a machine-like concept where each part supports one another. As always you can find a detailed text on our blog : diesalformel.de !

We will continue our work in June ! Looking forward to a great collaboration !

The arrangements for milan are almost done ! Less than one week to go and I am getting quite excited. Me and Marco Iannicelli are looking forward to a great exhibition as well as a great experience for both of us ! We hope to see some of you there !
